Gerda Bengtsson greatly influenced cross stitch designs with her artistry and elevated embroidery as an art. It is a pleasure to sell her designs and see the possibilities in mounting the embroideries in a way which matches the interieur trends of today.

HÅNDARBEJDETS FREMME – THE YEAR BOOK 2008

The 2008 calendar has been designed by Kirsten Lehrmann Madsen, who has a Master of Science within botany. She is also a drawing artist and has painted 12 beautiful watercolours with motifs of plants where the selected colours and plants symbolize the months of the year. As a source of inspiration the calendar also includes 12 photos of models with motifs from the calendars‘s embroideries.
